April 11, 2007 Semantica Pro is the leading provider of semantic network based knowledge representation tools. Now, in partnership with RadiantBlue Technologies, Semantica offers an integrated Geospatial Information System (GIS) module that can take map files from various sources, store them locally, and display full concept map representations overlaid on the map. In Semantica Pro+ GIS Module, geocoded elements touch down on the earth where appropriate, and non-georeferenced elements are connected and hover at altitude over the surface. For more information about Semantica's GIS capabilities and to learn more about Semantica PRO 4.1, please contact sales@semanticresearch.com. March 9, 2007 In partnership with Language Computer Corporation (LCC), Semantica offers an integrated Natural Language Processing (NLP) option which provides comprehensive, meaningful extraction of semantic information from unstructured text documents. With the NLP Module of Semantica Pro+, users can ask natural language questions of their document repositories, then automatically convert documents containing relevant information into full semantic network representations. For more information about Semantica's NLP capabilities and to learn more about Semantica PRO 4.1, please contact sales@semanticresearch.com. February 1, 2007 Semantica Pro, the leading provider of semantic network based knowledge representation tools now supports .KML output for its concept map capabilities. This enables concept map representations of interconnected people, places, things, events and ideas to be output in a format that can be represented in the GoogleEarth standard GIS representation language. With the click of a button in Semantica, users can display full concept map representations overlaid on a .KML compliant map such as GoogleEarth -- geocoded elements touch down on the earth where appropriate, and non-georeferenced elements are connected and hover at altitude over the surface. For more information about Semantica's .KML capabilities and to learn more about Semantica PRO 4.1, please contact sales@semanticresearch.com. May 5, 2006 Semantica PRO 4.0 is the result of a significant upgrade to the underlying data model for Semantica and provides unprecedented control over large-scale semantic networks for knowledge representation. "Customers in the Intelligence Community have agreed that there can be no true understanding without focusing on the relationships between people, places, events and activities. The new Semantica gives analysts capabilities that aren't available in any other data model and provide industry-leading visualizations for rapid information exploitation," according to Richard "Chip" Harrison, CEO of Semantic Research.
