Data Sharing / Collaboration

As many analyst communities are fragmented in multiple locations, the need to be able to easily share data and results is paramount. The data in Semantica can be stored, queried, and shared among multiple users by a variety of methods. The simplest method is to save the local file and email it to another user. In that scenario, the recipient can see exactly what the sender was seeing. Alternatively, the semantic data can be saved to a remote TripletSphere™ on a shared server, which can then be queried by any other user to return results.

The data in the TripletSphere can be updated by any user's manual annotations, by manual or automatic NLP extraction, or by direct feeds from some other systems or group of systems. The benefit of being able to save the work file and send to others is the common case where analyst are working in an offline environment where they are either not connected to the network or they have very limited connectivity and therefore can not rely on reachback to central servers.

Where the sharing requires summarization for consumption of the conclusions and their bases, the ability of Semantica Pro to export data in reports that can be opened by any text editor such as Microsoft Word, complete with a graphic of the network, allows consumers of intelligence who require a format other than a link chart to easily understand what the analyst needs to convey. Further, Semantica Pro's unique integration with Wikimedia sites, like Intellipedia allows analysts to publish their findings to the entire intelligence community when desired.

Semantica is currently in use in multiple environments, both classified and unclassified, and network-centric as well as non-networked. The data can be easily shared and moved between classification levels and systems that foster collaboration between classification levels.
