Semantica Pro is a stable commercial GSA schedule product in active use by multiple government organizations, both headquarters and field based, so getting a prototype into the field to support a new community can happen almost instantly.

Beyond adapting existing ontologies to the new focus, the majority of development time and energy would be to build any needed connections to required data sources. One project was reported to have increased productivity by greater than 100% by simply authoring some of the queries their analysts were repeatedly performing, and allowing Semantic Research, Inc. integration specialists to develop tools that automated a significant amount of the manual data entry the analysts were forced to spend time on. The return on the investment to the organization was almost instantaneous (1) for adding Semantica Pro to the existing analyst toolkit and (2) for increasing successful mission completion. In more than one case, this has led to specific interdictions, seizures, and arrests that otherwise would not have occurred in a timely fashion.

The application in its standard form can be deployed immediately, with on-going customer-requested enhancements pushed out into the field with easy to install upgrades. Semantic Research, Inc. employees can be the primary technical lead in integrating Semantica Pro with emerging data sources, or can easily train existing technology professionals on how best to interface with Semantica Pro's open-standard API.
